Jill has been dancing and choreographing for over 30 years. She grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and was a cheerleader at Millard South High School. Jill then attended Missouri State University where she was a three-year member and Captain of the Sugar Bears Dance Team helping them finish 2nd and 1st Runner-up at NDA Nationals. While at Missouri State University, she also helped coach and choreographed at Kickapoo High School, which led to her becoming the Sugar Bears Head Coach.
Along with past Personal Trainer certifications from NASM, AFAA and ACE, Jill has been a Zumba Fitness Instructor since 2009 and has taught in New Jersey and Kansas City in corporate, private and group fitness settings.
Jill is a mother of four--Maggie, Allie, Sammy, & Patrick (ages 19-8) and a small business owner with her husband of 23 years, Jerry. Her daughter, Maggie, in on the swim team for Truman State University & her daughter, Allie, was just selected to represent the University of Missouri Golden Girls. Her passions are choreography, music, trivia and working out each day of the year. She wants the attendees of re:YOU Dance Fitness to know that dance and fitness IS for everybody- that the most important thing to be is YOU. Her personal motto is "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." With health and a good attitude, every day is a gift.
